Hi, my name’s Caitlin. I love a lot of things; mainly my dogs Lola and Betty and my cat Easter, but I’ve managed to save some room for food, books, and libraries. I like those people I call my family and friends, too.

Betty and Lola
I’ve reached the ripe old age of 27 with a bland palette and a tendency to lay prostrate on my kitchen floor when faced with the thought of cooking. I’m trying to overcome the overwhelming disconcertion kitchens/food/utensils cause me, and I thought the best way to figure it out was at work. By the way, I work at a library. I raided the cooking section (641.1–641.5, Dewey style), and decided I AM GOING TO LEARN TO COOK. Even if it kills me, which it most certainly will.
I should let you know that I really know nothing at all about cooking, and while I may give advice or suggestions, use my advice at your own risk. Also, what I’m cooking may taste good to me, but I don’t have very high standards. Use the recipes at your own risk.
